Mojim životným krédom je symbióza vedy a praxe. Všetko, o čom teoreticky uvažujem, musí mať aplikačný výstup. Som presvedčený o tom, že zmyslom vedy je rozširovať poznanie a napomáhať praxi.
Nadáciu profesora Štefana Kassaya na podporu vedy a vzdelávania založil profesor Štefan Kassay, doktor ekonomických vied v roku 2002. Cieľom Nadácie je podporiť skupiny alebo jednotlivcov za účelom rozvoja vedy a vzdelávania. Rozsiahla aktivita Nadácie je prepojená so Slovenskou akadémiou vied a Vydavateľstvom VEDA, kde dnes už možno bilancovať záslužné výsledky. Od začiatku svojej činnosti sa sústreďuje na vydávanie knižných publikácií význačných autorov. Okrem toho nadácia usporadúva vedecké konferencie a sympóziá s aktuálnou tematikou. Svoje výsledky prináša spolupráca s Ministerstvom zahraničných vecí a európskych záležitostí Slovenskej republiky pri zabezpečovaní šírenia kultúrnych hodnôt a významných vedeckých a vedecko popularizačných diel z oblasti vedy a vzdelávania v krajinách, kde Ministerstvo zahraničných vecí a európskych záležitostí má svoje zastúpenie. Pre Nadáciu je zvlášť významná možnosť spolupráce vo vydavateľskej činnosti, či iných formách vedeckej aktivity s Európskou akadémiou vied a umení. Predovšetkým možnosť vybudovania prestížnej značky reprezentujúcej najvyššiu kvalitu pod egidou Európskej akadémie vied a umení v kooperácii s vydavateľstvom Veda a vydavateľstvami krajín EÚ a Ázie. Je to významný počin pre formovanie a podporu publikačnej a vydavateľskej aktivity slovenských členov Európskej akadémie vied a umení v duchu jej poslania a hlavných cieľov. Za obdobie dvadsaťjeden rokov bolo vydaných takmer sto odborných publikácií a zborníky z vedeckých konferencií.
V súvislosti s historicky prvým predsedníctvom Slovenskej republiky v Rade Európskej únie, Nadácia zorganizovala medzinárodnú konferenciu „NOVÁ EURÓPA - NEW EUROPE“, ktorá predstavovala intelektuálny príspevok Nadácie profesora Štefana Kassaya k tejto politicky významnej udalosti. Záštitu nad konferenciou prevzal vtedajší minister zahraničných vecí a európskych záležitostí Slovenskej republiky Miroslav Lajčák.

Brožúra Cesta k názorovému zjednoteniu efektívneho vzdelávania približujúca celoživotné motto profesora Štefana Kassaya. Životným krédom profesora Štefana Kassaya je symbióza vedy a praxe. Všetko, o čom teoreticky uvažuje, musí mať aplikačný výstup. Je presvedčený o tom, že zmyslom vedy je rozširovať poznanie a napomáhať praxi.
Nadácia profesora Štefana Kassaya na podporu vedy a vzdelávania od roku 2016 oceňuje významné osobnosti za zásadný prínos v podnikaní, za integráciu vedy a praxe, za úspechy vo zvyšovaní výkonnosti korporácii pri súčasnom skvalitňovaní kultúry práce a života pracovníkov podniku. Každý držiteľ ocenenia okrem medaile dostáva diplom. Udeľované medaile majú na líci portrét profesora Štefana Kassaya s nápismi upriamujúcimi pozornosť na životné motto, ktoré je zachytené slovami: Veda a prax. Na rube je motív otvorenej knihy symbolizujúcej odovzdávanie vedomostí doplnený textom: Nápady, Zlepšovanie a Inovácie. Professor Štefan Kassay’s Foundation for Support of Science and Education was established in 2002 by professor Štefan Kassay, the doctor of Economic sciences. The main aim of his Foundation is to support either groups or individuals, in order to promote science and education. The Foundation is involved in a wide range of activities; it is also interconnected with the Slovak Academy of Sciences and VEDA publisher. Their cooperation has produced outstanding results over the years up until today. Since the beginning, the Foundation focuses on publishing activities, and publishes the books by distinguished authors. At the same time, it organizes scientific conferences and symposium. The cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic has brought fruitful results through dissemination of cultural values, significant scientific works and popular science works in the field of science and education in many countries, where the Ministry has its representative office or during the special representative occasions abroad. The cooperation with the European Academy of Sciences and Arts is very important, especially all publishing activities or other forms of scientific activities. Such cooperation is particularly significant because of the possibility to create a prestigious brand representing the highest quality under the auspices of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts, and its cooperation not only with Veda publisher, but also other publishing houses from the EU and Asian countries. It is an important step for the Slovak members of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts to form and support their publications and publishing activity in the spirit of the mission and main goals of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts. Over a period of twenty-one years, almost one hundred professional scientific publications and conferences proceedings were published.

The first Slovak Presidency of the Council of the European Union in the Slovak history was a great opportunity to organize the international conference called NEW EUROPE by Professor Štefan Kassay’s Foundation. The conference was organized to express an intellectual contribution and a symbol of this important political event. The patronage of the conference was taken over by the former Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, Miroslav Lajčák.

A case study of the joint-stock company IDC Holding published at the occasion of the visit of twenty-seven Ministers of Labor from 27 EU countries to the multinational corporation Pečivárne Sereď.

The brochure with the title ‘‘The path to the unification of opinion on effective education‘‘ expresses the life credo of Professor Štefan Kassay. Living by his lifelong motto - the symbiosis of science and practice. Everything professor thinks about in theory must have an application output. He is convinced that the purpose of science is to broaden knowledge and assist practice.
Since 2016, Professor Štefan Kassay’s Foundation for Support of Science and Education has been awarding important personalities for their fundamental contribution to business, for their integration of science and practice, for successes in increasing the performance of the corporation, while improving the work culture and the life of the company's employees. Each awardee receives a medal and diploma. On the obverse side, the medals have a portrait of Professor Štefan Kassay and inscription capturing the motto of his life, with the following words: Science and practice. On the back, there is a motif of an open book symbolizing the transfer of knowledge, supplemented by the text: Inventions, Improvements and Innovations.
